Chicken Rescue and Sanctuary in Western North Carolina is a safe place where all chickens can be free from harm—
a no-kill, no-euthanasia haven for our feathery friends. My mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, homeless, abused and abandoned chickens. Read more about me and my mission here.
As of today, September 4th 2019, the Chicken Rescue and Sanctuary is officially closed. I am not taking in any birds. It was a very difficult decision, and I am heartbroken. 10 years of rescuing and taking care of chickens was lots of joy and lots of sorrow. The birds will stay on the property until God will want them to cross the rainbow bridge. I started as a no kill, no euthanasia sanctuary and that is how it will close. Thank you for all of your support.
